SUBJECT:	Year 2000 Compliance on Matsushita Electric Industrial / Video Systems Division (MEI/VSD) products

Matsushita Electric Industrial / Video Systems Division (MEI/VSD) hereby declares under it's sole responsibility that the products shown in the table below to which this statement relates, are in conformity with the Year 2000 conformity requirements.

Basic rules for requirements are as follows :

Rule 1:	No value for current date will cause any interruption in operation except specified.
Rule 2:	Date based functionally must behave consistently for dates, prior to, during and after year 2000 except specified.
Rule 3:	In all interfaces and data storage, the century in any date must be specified either explicitly or by unambiguous algorithms or inference rules. Basid standards of ISO8601 are applied, except specific descriptions.
Rule 4:	Year 2000 must be recognized as a leap year.
